Save Leitrim 100km Relay Fundraiser

Members of the Save Leitrim group will walk and cycle a 100km relay from Tullaghan at the top of the county to Bornacoola at the bottom of the county on Sunday 20th September. Starting at the ocean at 6am the plan is to arrive at 7pm at the county bounds of Longford with a baton being passed from one member to the next at each starting point throughout the county.

Save Leitrim are an environmental and biodiversity group who are fighting for the social and economic sustainability of our communities and the protection of our environment, biodiversity and heritage from relentless industrial afforestation and clear felling.

Our group faces many financial challenges in the coming months including a high court challenge against a proposed site for afforestation in Leitrim. We would much appreciate your support in helping us fundraise. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in helping us to protect rural communities across Ireland and bring about change for the better.

Thank you!
